Terwijl ze hun kudde in de bergen laten grazen en zelf spelen bij een waterbron, worden twee tieners door terroristen aangevallen. De zestienjarige Nizar wordt vermoord. Lotfi Achour
Lotfi Achour lives in Paris and Tunis. He is the director of more than twenty-five plays and musical theatre productions on various stages: London, Paris, Festival In d’Avignon, Tunis, Lebanon, Egypt, etc. His latest show, Macbeth, was produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company for the London Olympics. He also created an installation for the Nuit Blanche in Paris.
Trained in documentary filmmaking at the Ateliers Varan in Paris, he has made five short films that have won dozens of awards around the world, including Law of the lamb, selected in Official Competition for the Palme d’Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
His second feature, Red Path, made its world premiere in competition at the Locarno Festival 2024, and in just a few months has been selected for over fifty festivals, winning more than fifteen awards to date.
